‘A Wild Plan’ in National Geographic
Photographer-duo David Doubilet and Jennifer Hayes, along with writer Craig Welch, captured the historic release of zebra shark pups Charlie and Kathlyn into the waters of the Wayag Lagoon. This marked a global first for shark rewilding and a successful proof of concept for the StAR Project and ReShark.
This story was featured by National Geographic online and in the July 2023 print issue.
Wilderness with Simon Reeve - Ep. 3: Coral Triangle
Simon Reeve joins our Program Manager Nesha Ichida to voyage across the Coral Triangle, a huge wilderness of tropical seas and jungle-clad islands in the south west corner of the Pacific that's been described as the Amazon of the seas.
The episode features a stop at our Misool Foundation nursery where Reeve got a chance to see Mali before she was released.
